International School of Prague

IB Diploma Programme · Prague

I've been at the International School of Prague since 2021 and am now in the IB Diploma Programme. My subject choices lean towards the social sciences, with economics and global politics at Higher Level, balanced with maths, languages and science.

Global Online Academy

Online courses taken alongside my school studies

Global Online Academy runs online courses for students from schools around the world. I've taken three courses with them to go deeper into subjects my school timetable couldn't fit.
- PrecalculusSummer 2026

A two-month summer course covering functions, trigonometry and the other foundations needed for calculus. It gave me a strong base for IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches at Higher Level.
- BiochemistryJan – May 2026

An introduction to the chemistry of living things, looking at the molecules that make life work, such as proteins, enzymes and DNA. It connected my interest in biology with my interest in how technology can support the human body.
- Problem Solving with Engineering and DesignAug – Dec 2025

A semester of working through the engineering design process, from defining a real problem to brainstorming, prototyping and testing solutions. It tied in closely with my work as lead designer on the robotics team.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies

Biomedical Engineering · Remote

A two-week intensive course on the principles and applications of biomedical engineering. We studied how the body's organs work and the technologies used to support them, then brainstormed possible new solutions. I finished with a research presentation on prosthetics: their history, how they're used today and where the technology is heading. The course cemented my passion for biotechnology and robotics.

Engineering & Technology · Summer programme

A two-week summer programme focused on engineering and technology, especially mechanical and structural engineering and how it's used in the real world. We learned through hands-on projects and daily lectures. I came away with much stronger maths, physics and design skills.

I'm also helping other ISP students get into robotics and improving how the school's robotics club is structured.
Member & Lead DesignerOct 2024 – Now

I joined the Upper School robotics team in October 2024 and compete in both VEX and FIRST Tech Challenge. As lead designer I focus on the mechanical engineering side, turning ideas into robot designs the team can build.

Competitions

2026 Slovakia QualifiersMar – May 2026

Competed for Falcon Tech #11041 at the Slovakia qualifying tournament. We finished 4th out of 16 teams in the qualification rankings.
FIRST Tech Challenge BeneluxSep – Dec 2025

Represented Falcon Tech #11041 in the FIRST Tech Challenge Benelux season. We designed, built and programmed a robot for that season's game.
2025 Slovakia QualifiersMar – Jun 2025

Competed for Falcon Tech #11041 at the Slovakia qualifying tournament. We finished 2nd out of 12 teams in the qualification rankings.

National Team: FIRST Global Challenge

Jun 2025 – Now

Representing the Czech Republic

The FIRST Global Challenge is an international robotics competition where each country sends a single national team. I'm one of the few students who got to represent Czechia.

2026 FIRST Global ChallengeJun 2026 – Now · Incheon, South Korea

Back on the national team for a second season, this time competing in Incheon, South Korea. Once again we're designing, building and programming a robot for this year's challenge.
2025 FIRST Global ChallengeJun 2025 – Jun 2026 · Panama City, Panama

Our team engineered, built and programmed a robot to complete the competition's tasks. We competed against national teams from 180 other countries.

Leadership & community

Co-organiser, Campfire Prague

Jan – Mar 2026

Hack Club

I co-organised Campfire Prague, a 48-hour game jam for teens powered by Hack Club, a nonprofit for teen coders and electronics makers. Teens from around Prague came together to make and ship their own games, with prizes, food and merch along the way. My focus was team management and leadership, helping plan and run the event.

International School of Prague

Treasurer & Leader, Upper School Community ServiceMay 2025 – Aug 2026

I led the Upper School community service programme as both leader and treasurer. I oversaw 5 divisions, coordinating, planning and running their projects. I was also the link between students, the school administration and our partner charities.
Member, Community Service Club (Roots & Shoots)Aug 2021 – Now

Five years as part of the school's community service groups and initiatives. Together our projects have raised over 800 EUR. I've contributed around 250 hours of direct and indirect service.

Team Manager & Social Media

Oct 2024 – Oct 2025

Restoring Rainbows · Prague · Hybrid

I helped build a new charity branch in Prague together with a co-founder. I ran the branch's social media and managed the tasks of a team of 8. The role was hybrid, so I worked both in person and online.
